Carma Louise Anderson Evans (Jinx) 1952 ~ 2008

Jinx passed away peacefully January 3, 2004. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Jinx was born October 16, 1952, daughter of Afton English Dyllo.  She had a brilliant mind, graduating cum laude from the University of Utah. She loved animals and found beauty in nature. Jinx was instrumental in getting ferrets legalized in Utah. She loved photography and rock hounding. When not outdoors, she busied herself writing stories for which she won many awards. Jinx was a Toastmaster, cheering others with her humorous speeches. Those with her in her last hours were Mitch Young, who loved and cared for her; her beloved daughter, Heidi Evans; and Duane Evans. Special in her heart were Mitch's children, Josh, Shari, and Mandy; sisters-in-law, Deidra Parker and Cherie Bartges, with whom she shared a special bond. This was her family. We thank her for the joy she brought into our lives.
