Samuel Mark Ellis 1953 ~ 2009

Samuel Mark Ellis, son, father, brother and friend, was born on July 22, 1953 and passed away on August 30, 2009. Mark lived life on his own terms and enjoyed life's pleasures in the form of golf, boating and spending time with friends and family. All will remember his generosity. If someone needed help moving, to borrow a car, help financially, or to enjoy time on his boat or at his cabin, Mark was the first to offer. He was a devoted son, proud father and a friend who always enjoyed a spirited discussion or debate and a good time. Mark learned the ropes in the health insurance industry employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Utah, and parlayed his skills to the consulting /brokerage arena where he had lasting relationships with his clients whom he viewed as friends. His expertise, creative thinking, and ability to create strong allegiances with his customers are duplicated by few in the industry. Mark's many family and friends remember his loyalty, sense of humor, enjoyment of life and the importance of those he held close. Mark is survived by his mother, Leola; son, Justin; sisters Terri, Adrina (Pete), Denise (Allen); and brothers Joe (Cindy), Phil (Pam).
